@RPStevens: despite my best attempts at learning ruby i have no aptitude for programing. i wouldn't mind collaborating with someone to make it. i had discussed making it for awhile with my brother but the project never got off the ground.
@ChaseTheCow: if there is enough interest i would definitely be up for making this game. when i thought of it originally i envisioned it as an iphone game. one button for matches and one for jerry can. the jerry can stays active and trails gas where you walk. tap the jerry can again to stop trailing gas. cocaine would raise you back up to full health and play a fun animation when you pick it up.

@bhudapop: I may have enough time for canv.as with my job but sadly not enough time for something of that caliber at this time. Unless you want me to knock out a crappy platformer on game maker.

I love the VGNG.
