@Anonymous: this is a great idea, sheeple will just give a sticker they see if they like something, when they should be giving a sticker they feel. It's just more genuine.

I must issue this quickly even it's a repost: my laptop CPU usage when opening canv.as is now 60-100% please don't take too much CPU usage. My laptop is 4 years old.

@JaneSmith: Some people do use real names, or pretty damn close. I'd like to think of Canvas as a place where one doesn't need to feel like it's dangerous, stupid, or embarrassing to do so. If it does get to that point i'll have to look for another place to waste my time.

Sorry the color palette thing was my fault. Wait NO! It was IE9's fault because it came about because IE9 can't do CSS gradients ( >___<)
Anyways, the fix is on its way out, thanks for catching it.

Oh, and, how do I unfollow Canvas? This is a serious question, by the way. Nothing against Canvas, but, I don't particularly need to see what Canvas decides to sticker everything. I'd much prefer just following each Canvas Team Member separately...

Did they add opacity control when you insert an image in the editor, or did I just never notice that before?

Some of the things I miss in the remixer are:
- Ability to control the thickness(and maybe even opacity) of lines. For straight lines you can use the rectangle tool, but not for diagonal lines.
- Ability to control stroke when using text. Also why is there a black stroke around text when you choose white as a color, but not when you choose another color? I'd like to be in control when I add a stroke.
- In layers I'd like to be in control of opacity. And non-destructive, so I can see the layer beneath when erasing. Now most of the time I switch between layers.

I understand that canvas ain't no photoshop or even paintchat for that matter. But I would like to know if the above is possible in canvas or that those tools are missing because of technical limitations.

I think the changes could turn out alright when all the bugs are gone and everyone has gotten used to it. Thanks for the hard work and staying in touch with the community.

I hope I don't open Pandora's Box by mentioning this, but... heh... here goes...

When you follow and unfollow someone repeatedly, it shows up in their feed every time you start to "Follow" them (again). Not really a bug of course, but this feature could be abused just for the sake of being silly or annoying, spamming up somebody's notifications feed with a wall-o-"Herpaderp followed you"s.

Maybe if there's a repeat "Following" it could delete all the older notifications of that user following you?

And that thing where "a moment ago" takes you to the wrong post is still happening 100% of the time, just FYI.

so i love the new update and all but 1) can we just be able to completely restart an avatar instead of having to use the same size 2) whatas up with the stickers that it shows when you drag your mouse over it. its similar format so why cant we just keep it the way it was? and i understand the idea of not showing the stickers until you sticker a post, but it was much better before. it looked really cool.

I hate to say this again, but it's really bugging me.
Let me see the stickers on the explore page. Why the fuck would you make stickers so integral to the experience if you won't show which posts have received them on the main page?
Try to think of why people come here in the first place.

I miss the group-specific canvas themes -- like the cat stickers, and the minecraft stickers, and the abstract ones... Sad to see them go, but I hope they return.

Well the only thing that really bother me is the fact that you don't see stickers on post before stickering... Everything is white and boring as fuck... So boring, that I don't even want to browse canv.as anymore. Well done.

@Arcaziel: That bothers me as well, but I've noticed it makes my sticker choices less biased. I wish that after you'd sticker it, it would still show the most prominent sticker, like it used to. It seems like it shows just my sticker now.

@Acidsmooth: Influenced? There are so many posts with all kind of stickers... The thing is the explore page looks so fucking boring without the colors (+ only 3 columns instead of 4). That's what I hate most about the changes.

@Anonymous: I've really noticed a difference. When I'm stickering white posts I pick the sticker based on how I feel about the post. When I'm in a thread with pre-stickered posts I'm often likely to post the same sticker that's already on the post if I'm not exactly sure what sticker to use. With white posts I have to choose for myself every time with no influence from other users and I quite like it better. However I dislike the idea of spending a Fuck Yeah and risking no one seeing it.

@Acidsmooth: This. The small, single-blind-style novelty of hiding sticker counts is vastly outweighed by the ENTIRE GODDAMN POINT OF THE SITE.
