you do realise he had a pile of home made explosives at his house more than capable of killing many people made from stuff you could buy at any store right? If you make guns illegal then the only people who have them are the bad guys. They however shouldn't be made so readily available, it's only really an issue in America, where there are more guns than people.

@Anonymous: But then again, the high crime rate seems to indicate that people do have guns. They just don't kill people with them for whatever reason. Also, I suppose other kinds of guns could be used to get around the handgun laws... or do they have laws restricting all fire arms?

@Lamasutra: The country that has banned handgun ownership has fewer handgun deaths that's not surprising, but even without guns the French still manage to murder more of their own people than the Swiss.
