@Anonymous: I was brought up with Karma and a lot of bad things happened to me as a child, such as being hit by a large truck when I was a small child. I thought that I was burning off bad Karma I had from bad things I did in past lives. I was a really depressed child and now I have no interest in the concept of Karma.

@GirlGenius: If you're a genius then you can pick those words apart and glean their intent. "I'm just saying" is not some magical shield and if someone is using it as such they're doing it wrong. "I have merely stated" would be a good alternative or if you're a little weird "I have just said." Both of those uses sound like owning up to your own statements to me. The worst it could possibly be in the way you're claiming it's used would be something like, "We should feed those kids! What? I'm just saying we should," and even then you are expressing your desire to do something you will not, anne frankly I think that makes you a better person, unless you're withholding food out of personal amusement.
In summary, I hate when people choose to redefine phrases for their own use and then fault other people for its correct use.22 2 1 1 1 -

@Anonymous: I think GG is saying (s)he's sick of hearing people use the phrase in a way that undermines the act of speaking. Saying something isn't "just" [merely] doing something, especially if you emphasise it like that.
And GG hates when people do that. They're allowed to. -

@Anonymous: Oh, was it his NAME that was supposed to be big and tough and tears out of his clothes and flips cars? Was it his NAME that went on rampages through the city, tearing shit up and deflecting missiles with its green, muscle-bulging skin? Was it his NAME that you wouldn't want to get angry?

@Yiska: As the correction stated. He was called David by the tv execs that thought Bruce wasn't a manly enough name. He was still really Bruce banner, the comics from BEFORE the tv show were about BRUCE banner, everything after the tv show was BRUCE banner. The character is called Bruce.

@Coslopus: I agree, people who claim they represent, Jesus, like The Westboro Baptist Church are pretty shameful!
