GIF I mad for the dailydot http://www.dailydot.com/culture/25-year-anniversary-gifs-collection/
A sticker you may one day earn. Until then, the sticker shall remain locked in here.
Sometimes someone makes a really cool post and only a pair of Raybans can express how you feel.
Only for the loneliest of posts.
For something so cute that just a heart won't do :3

For when it's so good that you just can't stop laughing.
I love the power glove. It's so BAD. But it's still pretty nerdy...
For the post so classy it needs to be number one'd as well. "But wait," you say, "how is it double sided if it's a sticker?" Shhhhhh... it's best not to question the number oneocle.
FUCK YEAH!

"Animated GIFs are so much more than a static image, even the shortest GIFs tell a story. With an animation I can fit everything into a small area, something impossible with any other medium. Without breaking a layout or filling up somebody's whole screen any point can be communicated, from an epic tale to an amusing walk, motion and fluidity is exciting and makes the uninteresting eye-catching and inspiring. Timing can be perfected without guessing how long somebody takes to read something or move on in their viewing of an image. GIFs give the creator complete control.”
Well said Photocopier :)
Ah, gifs. They're so fun to make. I remember the days working on a crappy lil pc that basically had paint, opening it multiple times, copy/paste the image, make slight alteration, then manually flipping through them to make it animated. Then windows began including movie maker.
Course, I shouldn't have been making gifs at work but the graveyard shift was so boring.

@Anonymous:
False comparison : jpeg is lossy, PNG is lossless.
I too doubt GIF would ever totally drop out of favor though.

@octareenroon91: true, but it wasn't about the format - it was that PNG fanboys made the same claim about replacing JPGs when they came out. (some still do, for some reason.)
