@Anonymous: what about making fun of Muslims or Hindus or any other religion that isn't Christianity?

@Anonymous: I just find it very hypocritical. I don't go around making fun of religious people just cause I don't agree with what they believe. Then again I don't go around proclaiming I'm open minded for some sort of prize.
-
@Anonymous: Religious groups are there to be ridiculed. If you don't find religion absurd, you're doing something wrong.

@mradmack: I do find religion absurd but it doesn't give me a get out of jail free card to be a dick to people that believe it when ever I see them.

@mradmack: Just cause they are there doesn't mean you have to ridicule them.

@Anonymous: The same way you make fun of the kids who think vampires and sorcery are real, I make fun of the kids who think that gods are real.
If someone had believed that there was a god living under the bridge they walked over every day, and they were going to start converting people to worship it and obey its laws because it told them to; would you just say "Thats a wonderful belief and I'm glad you have it!"?
No, you smack them upside the head, call them a brain damaged idiot and show them that there is no bridge-god living under the bridge. You then do the human race some good and push them off the bridge so they don't spread their senseless drivel and infect others with the disease known as stupidity.
People who talk to non-existent voices are called schizophrenics and admitted to mental facilities, why are religious people treated any different? They talk to imaginary things that don't even answer back, hell, I'm more concerned with the fact that they WANT to talk to an imaginary wall than anything else.4 3 1 -
Particularly if they presume to speak for everyone, which includes fucking atheists who think that just because they don't believe in God, there isn't one. You can't show me a logical proof on it that doesn't rise above your feelings about probability. So, why not just sit back and toss down a big tall glass of Shut the Fuck Up?

Better yet, lets throw them into camps and conduct medical experiments on them.1 -

@Meander_Thralls: http://godisimaginary.com/
If you don't like scientific proofs and theorms about God's non-existence, try the inductive and deductive reasonings towards it. Either way, god exists, I'm going to call you a "fucking zealot who needs to take a tall glass of shut the fuck up", and I'm not going to flag your post.
Oh wait, I lied about all that, good day to you angry delusioned sir. -

@Anomalicious: I beg to differ, I've had it used numerous times to refer to my sexuality, and sometimes preceeding assault and battery.

@Anonymous: Openly mocking the beliefs of others is bad and you should feel bad. I'm going to assume you're brain damaged or are defective in some way because you clearly have antisocial personality disorder. Your existence may be a detriment to humanity, but advocating pushing you off a bridge is wrong, and pretty much amounts to eugenics. Do you believe in eugenics?

read better: "they are not trying to slow down _my_country's_ progress"
I can't fight EVERY stupid person on the planet, so I start focusing on my neighbors.
I excuse you.21 -

@Anonymous: Immigration dude. Hardcore conservative Islam isn't really restricted to the Middle East anymore.

@Anonymous: When the pope came to the UK, and he was supposed to bless everyone, I was barred from entering the mass because I was wearing a Mountain Goats T-shirt which this guy felt was "Satanic".

@mradmack: the faith you choose is atheism...a religion in and of itself. i choose to believe in nothing or science. science is a set of theories tested against the physical structure of the earth, as we know it.
you are a paradox and probably only 16 years old, hence your inability to synthesize a rational belief. -
Anonymous
@gudemonster: even science is flawed.
to believe in nothing is still to believe in something.31 -

@Anonymous:
Yes, because we'll let any conservative muslim take control, of course.
Everytime a christian, possibly american, person is put with his back against the wall, islam is involved. Lame. -

@gudemonster: No Sir. I am an Antitheist. I find religion deeply, deeply worrying, and hold both it and those who practise in contempt and riddicule. They deserve nothing less.

@Anonymous: my point exactly. who is to say that in 1000 years, the "rules" of science wont be outmatched.
and one can never truly believe in "nothing". there exists in every man/woman (for all the feminists) 's mind a belief for why they are currently alive on Earth. The expanding Universe? a god? Aliens?1 -
