I was kind of waiting for this to come to canv.as to say it's also not relevant since the newest (and last) white macbook, which I write to your from does not have an easily removable battery (you need a 3 point screwdriver and it's covered by a sticker saying it'll void the warrantee). Anyway, they don't even make white macbooks anymore so it would've been relevant maybe 3 (MacBook (13-inch, Mid 2009), I believe, was the last to have this type of battery) years ago, but no more.

Also, you usually want the battery in for it to work. (obviously any maintenance for ANY electronic may need tools which actually cost money which is usually more than a simple coin).

But yea, Apple's expensive, good job pointing it out. Hilarious.
