When i google something on images.google i use the term i want plus "site:canv.as" and thanks to the tittles its easier to find what i want...

@calhaus: yeah but that implies you know about canv.as. I think for canv.as to be big you need people to find it that don't already know about it.

We probably need to tag individual images better. Like have an extra box for key words, these don't need to appear with the image, just in the html.

@Anonymous: That depends. To be completely honest I started going to 4chan in '04 and it really hasn't changed at its core. There's a lot more people there now; yes, but the basic idea hasn't changed. And it boils down to whether or not you like the ideas it stands for or don't to determine if you keep going back.

@RedmonBray: I think our basic hope is from the fact that it's still beta, meaning he could implement a lot of new features, and re-launch the site with a leaning towards facebook/reddit/twitter users as the "proper launch"

When I think back to the things I thought were stupid on 4chan back then (for example "no, keep going", "*grabs dick*", captain planet gif) and compare them to the shit I think is stupid now (doubles, invasions, "my face when"), I realize it wasn't as bad back then. I welcome the stupidity of old in place of the new stupid.

Of course there are people who enjoy the whole "Anonymous is Legion" thing. Horrible people.

@Anonymous: Consider yourself lucky I Joined in the days of Desu, Cockmonglers and the first pool blocking at Habbo. I still miss longcat but that's it. It was shit when I joined then it got better then it got muuuuuuuch worse.

@Anonymous: I remember all of that, was using the site since the beginning, I only listed a few examples. Even things that were spammed ad nausea like teh rei can't beat the silly stuff kids do on that site now. Cockmongler wasn't bad, but habbo hotel raids were the beginning of a trend that ushered in a new era of total bad.

@Anonymous: Please, everything you just described is exactly how it's always been. The new things are just as dumb as the old things. If you're partial to some of the shit versus some of this other shit it's probably only because you actively participating in it. All that's changed is the amount of shit you have to shift through to get to the good and if you don't have the patience then maybe you shouldn't be going there in the first place.
