@Anonymous: The story spends more time on how the man acted than that he was a soldier. I see nowhere in the story god saying "you is soldier you get heaven." Also there are many reasons someone would join a countries military that have nothing to do with their devotion to their country. So what you seem to be saying is just because a story involves soldiers it must be patriotic bullshit.
