@Anonymous: The real social value of Canvas is not to provide credit for those who innovate but rather to generate innovation and creativity. It shouldnt really matter who posted something first, as long as that something eventually makes it way through the Canvas machine. Who cares who gets the points for something. We all have lots of points and lots of stickers.

This is fucking ridiculous. Those people who are actually concerned with getting recognition on posting a picture is petty. You wanna be recognized get off your ass and do something in society rather than being on the internet. Posting comical pictures is a past time not a lifestyle. Get over yourself. Im on canv.as as a past time and I could give two shits if the same picture is on here twice or even a hundred times. If it was funny the first time it will be the 100th time. So there are reposts on the internet, welcome to the internet. Its not going to be the death of you like some of you act that it will be. This thread started off funny and people being nice, and now its shit because others have to be a baby and say REPOST because they have nothing better to do than to be rude because its the internet. Some people on here are no different than those people on any other website.
