@Anonymous: If we're nit picky that's not really true (yes, I know what phrasing I used, sorry). Obviously he wouldn't rebel if he didn't have free will. What he didn't like was that god created humans in his image, and Lucifer was basically jealous.

No, angels were created from billions of minimally-conscious elementary particles being attracted to examples of higher intelligence and clumping together to form intelligent multicellular-esque beings in their own right. Same way we get daemons, see? Angels and Daemons. Dan Brown wrote a book about it.
Jeez, some people. They'll believe anything that's written down in some dusty old book. At least the dust on my book is less than a quarter century old.
