@GarrisonDean: Both. Not a lot of people know the difference/ know what a score is. Common term is soundtrack.
-
@DoctorWhoFTW: Yeah. I know, I just kind of felt like being an ass.
That said, in terms of score..not the BEST evar... but highly underappreciated. -

@Anonymous: 5)We disagree because you're so repellent that the thought of liking something you like is completely revolting to the rest of humanity.

@PrivateTaco: Just because it won the Oscar against Hans Zimmer, that doesn't mean it's good music.

@Anonymous: thanks for the FY, it has to be one of the best soundtracks ever, with the Prodigy, Urban Dance Squad, Leftfield, Orbital, Underworld... it even inspired 2 additional "soundtracks", while the movie itself is now 'cult' at best.
Even heard the soundtrack played at an actual hackercon.. :)1 -

@remeranAuthor: ?
Really? I mean, CoC has some fairly classy music, but I think we can do better from the miyazaki back catalogue. There's nothing on there I personally consider very memorable, for a start... -
@Anonymous: As a committed chipmusic wonk, Anamanaguchi makes my brain bleed. All except for "helix nebula".
-
Par example...
An ending track even a non japanese speaker can learn to sing (and will want to), and beautiful, memorable orchestral pieces mixed with high-impact semi techno stuff throughout right from the opening scenes.
I ended up DIY scoring and programming Nokia Composer versions of the opening and ending themes into my 3310...2
