While this does suck, and I do feel bad for those it affects...is anyone really surprised? This seems to be a common occurrence with modern big-ticket games, it's just part and parcel of the experience (unfortunately).

Meanwhile, I'll be playing Skyrim, as I am always months behind on new releases and it seems to be a fairly decent strategy in terms of availability and playabilty

@Anonymous: Oh no, no, I mean I never played Skyrim and I'm just now getting around to it.

However, the most recent nvidia driver boasts a "game-changing 45% performance increase" for Skyrim and I don't think it's bullshit, because it was like night and day before and after the install. (ymmv of course)

I don't usually fuck with mods, but it looks like there's a LOT of fun shit around for that.

Back on topic...any of y'all who couldn't get onto the servers able to now?
