Am I the only one that thinks Canv.as is bastardized and has no real communal identity? It didn' t quite turn out as 4chan with its pants on, and remixing isn't the main focus of the site; stickers are. Reposts are everywhere, from long ago, and from other Internet entertainment sites.
People lurk other places until they find something good there to post here and only occasionally vice versa. Needless to say the crossposted content is appropriately rewarded with stickers. While the stickers provide some sort of incentive produce good content, it is also an incentive to steal good content.
Canv.as is still in beta because there's still something not quite right with it and it's most assuredly not sticker meters.
