@Anonymous: There are always phrases from other languages that don't necessarily translate properly to/from any other language. Like it may not actually say "motherfucker" but it was used in the same context with the same implications... if that makes sense haha

@urial: "Motherfucker" seems to be a rather hollow insult. It is, however, an extreme display of verbal vulgarity and hostility to the point that, when combined with other speech and gesticulations, it would be considered assault. Perhaps that's the way that "मातरिपुरुषः" is used as well? This fits with what you're saying that "मातरिपुरुषः" is "used in the same contexts with the same implications". It ("मातरिपुरुषः") still seems to me to be denotatively distant from "motherfucker".
