@Backfire: Oh nice! That would be a bit of a trip for you, then, haha. Bonnaroo is modeled after Glastonbury, actually. Sometime soon (well, within the next few years) I'm determined to either go to Glastonbury or Roskilde in Denmark. They're both supposed to be super epic. The Isle of Wight Festival looked pretty awesome too but you don't hear about it as much (then again most festivals don't have the budget that Glastonbury has haha).

The school schedules can be really strange here. High schools (so your college) get out around the same time as other high schools but universities are totally varied, especially in terms of the smaller breaks like Christmas or spring break. The university I go to operates at an accelerated pace and I only get 4 weeks off a year not including federal holidays. It's a pain in the ass but it takes half as many years to get a bachelor's degree :P

@urial: Yeah, Glastonbury gets pretty big. It can be annoying sometimes because while its on, everything in the news and on the TV and Radio centres around it, its sometimes really difficult to find something other than Glastonbury....

@Backfire: Hahaha I don't even live there and even I know how you feel. A torrent of That Mitchell and Webb Look and of Peep Show I downloaded fairly recently each had an episode where they mentioned Glastonbury over the closing credits. It's cool that the main channels there are into it so much, though. Most festivals here are only broadcast on, like, *maybe* MTV but usually just on a cable music channel called Fuse.

It would get annoying trying to watch something not festival related, though. I feel your pain!
