@hamslice: Turns not not EVERYONE on canvas are reactionary mouth-breathing autists who have pavlovian rage-triggers up the fucking bunghole.
Just, you know, 99.99999999999999999998% of it. -

This is the beauty of canv.as. I posted this picture for fun and some of you appreciated. you then took that and made it into your own, spurring off into multiple directions weather its fighting or changing the topic completely. It's like this thread evolved into something beautiful (completely relevant from the pokemans)
I fucking love you guys here at canv.as, you make my day :)6 2 1 1 1 -

@Anonymous: That's not how missingno works. You encounter Missingno or 'M or any of the hundreds of other possibles because when you talk to the tutorial Old Man dude near the beginning (the one who teaches you how to catch pokemon) it briefly changes your name to "Old Man" so it can show the catching animation in a battle. The game needs to store your name somewhere so it won't be lost, so it puts it in an encounter list nowhere near the current area (cinnabar island).
The glitch happens because the game doesn't put your name back into the right spot until you leave that area via the normal exits. If you leave that tutorial open until you have Fly, and then Fly away to cinnabar (where your name is stored) you can run into YOUR NAME while surfing the coast. It forces whatever your name is into the pokemon battle template and all hell breaks loose. The type of missingno you get depends on your name.
Long story short, missingno or any of the glitches associated with it have nothing to do with a pokemon being removed at the last minute. Our friend Okk a few years ago detailed the glitch in this gamefaq: http://www.gamefaqs.com/gameboy/367023-pokemon-red-version/faqs/3843421 1 -

@Anonymous: Not to mention that Kangaskhan isn't the only Pokémon in Red/Blue not to have an evolution.
