@Anonymous: The whole point for politicians is to fight for votes and fudge their words to gain votes. The politician train doesn't end or begin with Obama. Don't make broad statements and center it on one person.

@AvengerOfBoredom: You've missed the actual goals of a corrupt government -- make itself more powerful by convincing the citizens that it needs to care for them. A government's ultimate goal is power ... power over its citizens ... and it achieves this in two ways 1) going to war to expand it's citizen base and 2) inventing social programs that allow it to control a citizen's benefits.
