@Anonymous: It also had St Patrick's day stickers. They like an island of drunken vagrants more than an island of classy gentlemen?

@Anonymous: there is no island of classy gentlemen, but just a island full of ugly "people" who can't drive, speak, or drink normal drinks.

@Anonymous: How, pray tell, do you know this? You clearly haven't ever been to England nor do you know anything of it's language, charms or beverages.

@Anonymous: Do you even realize that the dragon is an allegory for Mary Magdelene, and 'St.' George is the most racist of the saints, as the symbol of Opus Dei ?

@Anonymous: You're a real bastard. People regularly get their limbs cut off in Somalia &al.

@Anonymous: Racism doesn't count if it's not against me!
What did they teach you in school? -

@Anonymous: I'd say Thomas Moore is a much worse saint. He tortured people for owning a Bible in English. Is that not a tad racist?

@Anonymous: Because the English make no attempt whatsoever to celebrate it?
The English celebrate their national saint's day with that traditional English passtime: apathy.41 1 -

@Anonymous: if you ask a person in america if they're aware of the 4/20 holiday, most will say yes.
however, if you ask them the same about saint george's day, i'd bet more than 90% would say no.2 -

@Anonymous: Missed my point there.
4/20 is celebrated by enough here to get it noticed, at least. Obviously not on the scope and scale of holiday like christmas/thanksgiving, but it is popular enough that most people are at least _aware_ of it.
St. George's day is fucking nonexistant here.1 1 -

@Anonymous: 4/20 is celebrated by college and high school drop outs.
St. George's Day is celebrated by an entire nation.
Your point is invalid. -
@Anonymous: Have you read any of the responses here? Why would we be celebrating foreign holidays?
