@Anonymous: Rock crushes scissors, but paper covers rock, and scissors cuts paper. Kif, we have a conundrum.

Besides ... Romney lost to McCain in '08 largely because of a hate-filled smear campaign against Mormons. As a credit to the people of this country, that anti-Mormon prejudice fueled by false propaganda has reduced enough for him to be successful on a second try. At this rate ... religion (or lack of it) will soon no longer be an obstacle to political office ... whereas in the past one was almost required (JFK aside) to be Protestant.

@Anonymous: And if the media (which has already started) or this administration decide to make an issue out of Mormonism, I'd be curious as to why then, no one has made a fuss over good ol' Harry Reid, Senate Minority leader, who is also a Mormon, but a Democrat.
I guess it would only matter if he's a Republican, rite guyz?32 -

@Anonymous: You're right ... Mormons do tend to own a few things themselves. Things like houses, cars, lamps, couches, etc. Not sure what you get from pointing it out though?

@Anonymous: Gary Johnson was the best governor New Mexico ever had ... and yes, I lived there during his governorship so I'm not just talking out my ass.

@Anonymous: When are people going to start realizing that the whole multiple-wives thing with Mormons ended in the 1800's? Knocking Romney for multiple-wives is about as relevant as telling Obama to go back to picking cotton. In fact ... if Romney was Mormon and had multiple wives, that's exactly what Obama would have been doing (ie, it was pre Civil War).

@Anonymous: Sure, Chuck Lorre is a soul-sucking avatar of crude exploitative media. But, you know, sometimes you don't mind the low-brow exploitation.

@Crazydave21216: definitely not a show FOR nerds. It's a show about how nerds' moms see nerds. It's about laughing at nerds, not laughing with them. I've no doubt that the show's creator intended it to be for nerds, but then they applied the CBS sitcom equation to the mix, and now it's a disgrace.

@Anonymous: As a nerd I can definitely say that the show used to be for nerds. I remember loling very hard over noninertial frames of reference jokes and the background dependency feud between QLG and string theory. But now it has morphed into a standard sitcom about relationships and frequently does 'how lame are science nerds' jokes :(
