You don't love canvas, you don't want to let people know who was the person that make the image you are sharing or you you don't want people to know how to go to the original link where the post is Just drag'n'drop the image in another tab.
Canv.as is not 9gag and don't need advertise... Just gives you the option to post a clean image or with helpfull options.

@wumbology: I'm going to argue that most people post anonymously, at least most of the time. If you take the time to watch for names, you'll notice maybe 30-40 names pop up. 15 or so "regulars". It's either that, or this site has a horribly small user base.
