@Anonymous: In the games that I played, you can name the character whatever you want to name him. He can be Link, or Zelda, or even your best friend Robert who you haven't seen in weeks and at last, while you're driving through the fog at night, you see a shadow. You pull over and see a man with a beard and the look of a killer. But it's not a killer, it's Robert. He was lost in the cold and had to survive on nothing but tires and the urine of deer. You embrace him and go in for a kiss. The two of you hop back in the car and have a smooth ride through the night.
