@calhaus: Yep, the remixer is the exact same as the regular site, it just skips the upload step. You can post to any group.

The one good thing about the bookmarklet was the fact that it put it off into it's own little group. I am concerned that with this someone will find several pics of basically the same content and upload them all with this extension leaving us with tons of one post threads about exactly the same thing. If there was a way to implement replying into this, that would be radbadical.

@Xeno_Mezphy: You're right. Maybe a counter? A function that only let you post 5 images with the boormarklet a day? Or something similar to prevent the spam. If the spam will going to happen in the first place...

I hear all this talk that you're hoping to port but in the meanwhile, you're removing support for non-chrome.

Also, for the love of god put back the option to be anonymous by default. Why? WHY?

@Anonymous: It's an extension, it doesn't break support for other browsers, they just miss out on an optional feature.

@ae was kind enough to change mine for me while I was on IRC, though I'm sure they'd be able to do it by email too. Took like two minutes.

@Xeno_Mezphy: That's a good point, but actually what ended up happening was that group had little visibility outside the core bookmarklet users, so it was mostly neglected. Although it was centralized, it didn't get much exposure. Now, you can choose precisely how much or what kind of visibility you want by choosing the group yourself.

@Anonymous: Would it actually be better if we waited until a Firefox one was done first before releasing this one? The upside is we can learn a lot by releasing this now, for when we iterate and expand on this feature in the future. We simply have more Chrome users, so it makes sense to do a Chrome extension as the v1.

You really did an amazing job with this... I'm astounded! The canv.as team has some great ideas. Keep up the good work guys and gals!

@Anonymous: I actually posted about this in the thread three days ago when it happened. You may have noticed I did not receive a reply, but that's because I'd already had a conversation with ae about it. The canv.as crew sees stuff, don't worry.

I'm using this extension to post cats from around the interwebs for Caturday and it's cattastic! Thanks Canv.as!

I think you guys have a memory leak. My Chrome has been getting crazily bloated crazily fast since I installed this.
