@Anonymous: I'm pretty sure you don't. When something is flagged or downvoted, it's removed from front page rotation, effectively censoring it from the majority.

Isn't one of the rules of canv.as "don't be mean"? I think downvote spam counts as that.

That, and canv.as isn't a social networking site. I don't think even 9gag of all places has a PM system.

@Anonymous: No. It's not redundant. We have some pretty creative users here that I'm sure will make something great out of this.
And even if nobody makes anything exceptional out of it, it's still a nice bonus for the person giving the sticker. Some of us like to express our gratitude, and maybe it's a good way to make a joke etc. Still, it's only optional. Nobody is forcing you to use it.

Maybe, just maybe, one day I will get an epic sticker, the message would be cool too

@Anonymous: Apparently telling people to "STFU" by downvoting doesn't even work.

@Anonymous: If I give a forever alone sticker, I'm giving a message to say it's not because I think they are forever alone but because their post is worth 10 times a #1. It can be insulting and I'd rather it was cleared up. Also, I can tell photocopier he smells.

A lot of people prefer getting a comment in lieu of a sticker, and now you can do both. If you don't like the feature don't use it and STFU! It's really not hurting anyone, I promise.

If you think is really an unnecessary feature just don't use it. Nobody is forcing you.

@Anonymous: There isn't a "point" to be made from any of those things you just listed.
And no, the stickers don't necessarily mean gratitude. Some posts are stickered ironically or given epic stickers just to troll other users etc.

And yes, you could make a joke while commenting or remixing but now you don't have to if you don't want to. It's what we call "options."
