I think the US has more shitty band because they also have more people. If you think about proportions it will be about the same amount of shit. Canada music scene is pretty terrifying, at least here in Toronto.

@sonofnothing: I'm not Canadian, but I live here. If we are talking about Toronto, I will have to disagree again, because people from Toronto pretty much want to be americans, including musically. If you are talking about other areas, then I agree. I've been to Montreal and Vancouver many times and it is almost like a different country. Music aside, I do love Toronto.
