@Anonymous: I used to think/feel that, then I played it on a friend's computer and it was so bright so then I replaced my old HP CRT monitor and then I could actually see the game lol

@echapa: I know that feel, after stumbling my way around Ravenholm in HL2, pretty much trial-and-error-ing my way through the whole stupid map. Got a better monitor some months later and it was like playing a brand new game. I can really appreciate Ravenholm's design and "atmosphere" now, and it's one of my favourite parts of HL2. :)
