@Anonymous: I can't stay put longer than 10 minutes without having to double-check my cat is not inside the fridge.
Then after realizing he's not there, I will close the fridge's door and walk away slowly and always looking back just to be sure he doesn't sneak in.
I've never found it there, it's just that there's always a slight possibility that he somehow learned his way in.81 -

@Tati5001: I'd start with a course of SSRIs, they can really help OCD.
Then maybe go for a cat-proof lock, unless your cat is young. -
