@Memento: If you're saying you need the tablet you already own to draw then I'll agree with you.

Otherwise I wholeheartedly disagree and urge you not to waste your money unless you're going to use it for an actual off-site artistic pursuit and you want to learn to draw pressure sensitivity stuffs in photoshop/paint tool sai.

Many of the people here draw with a mouse.

@Anonymous: i bought my tablet solely b/c o' canvas & i barely use it elsewhere, yet it's probably one of my best purchases from 2011. a tablet is like any other art tool, it's always useful to become "fluent" in/comfortable with as many tools as possible + canvas is great practice for that.

@Anonymous: A cheap Wacom Bamboo (CTL470) would cost like 60$ (more or less depending where one would buy it).
Even if i noticed after a while that the tablet isn't really my thing i doubt i'll have a hard time finding someone i could resell it to ...
