yes, except for how the republicans are more guilty of increasing the government's control of it's people, especially in the realm of social freedom. Liberals are trying to give more freedom, aka birth control covered by insurance, and the rights for gays to marry. Health care that won't cause you to be be financially ruined, also allows for more freedom, of the individual that is. Conservatives are more concerned with the freedom of corporations than the individual.
