@Anonymous:
Every single one of these 'facts' is false.
1. False. A high estimate is 4.44 years, the average is unknown but less than that.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_long_does_the_average_human_spend_dreaming_in_a_lifetime
2. False, prima facie absurd. Sponges are animals without brains, for example. Many animals, however, do have complex dreams like humans.
http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2001/dreaming.html
3. False, lack of research in the area + hard numbers attached to ambiguous, unquantifiable definitions = pulled out of someone's ass.
4. False. The difference in mortality rate between righties and lefties is statistically insignificant.

5. False, lack of research in the area + hard numbers attached to ambiguous, unquantifiable definitions = pulled out of someone's ass.
6. False. Myth arising from general ignorance of how mental illness works; the tl;dr version is that people kill themselves because of their brain chemistry, not just because they feel sad, and thus rates do not spike at holidays including Valentine's Day- in fact they are highest in spring and fall.
http://severn.patch.com/articles/greif-not-suicide-increases-during-holidays-like-valentines-day
7. False. The idea that 1 in 8 couples married in 2009 met through social media was bounced through the retarded social media blogosphere, laundering it of sourcing, but apparently originated from a David Dalka post where he said it was from a fictitious "McKinsey study". Limited research based on online surveys exists, but no real data in the area otherwise.
http://forums.randi.org/archive/index.php/t-222380.html
8. False. Uneath, millionth, oneth (as in x^n+1), etc.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_rhymes_with_month
9. False. Variations of the name collectively comprise the most common name in the world, but 'MOHAMMED' specifically is only 633rd most common.

10. False. Male giraffes cough loudly during courtship to attract females.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giraffe#Social_structure_and_breeding_habits
11. False. On average, 19.2 million people have birthdays per year, but because of leap years, only 4.8 million have a birthday on February 29.
http://geography.about.com/od/lists/a/sharebirthday.htm
12. False. Cows can descend stairs, but don't like to because the shape of their heads and position of their eyes makes it difficult to see their feet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfyPOzB7pB8
13. False. The average adult laughs about 20 times a day, but children laugh much more often (babies average 300 a day) so the average for "person"s is much higher.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laughter#Nature_of_laughter
14. False. Prima facie absurd.
http://www.snopes.com/critters/wild/duckecho.asp
15. False. Although blue eyes are indeed a mutation arising from a single common ancestor 6000-10000 years ago, "all humans" did not have brown eyes before the mutation; green eyes have long been common in Europe.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color#Genetics
16. False. The only country with a city called "Rome" is the United States, and it has 12 Romes, 1 Rhome, 1 New Rome, and 1 Rome City. However, there are cities called "Roma" in Europe, Oceania, Africa and North America. There are no Romes or Romas in South America, Asia, or Antarctica, although there is a 'Mata Roma' in Brazil.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roma
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rome_(disambiguation)
17. False. Not only can most birds see blue, but many can see UV wavelengths beyond the human color spectrum.
http://sciencefocus.com/forum/birds-can-t-see-blue-t1052.html
18. False. Like many other bones in a baby's body, kneecaps are present as cartilage from birth and ossify later.

This image has been manipulated. Notice how there are three "layers" of pancakes. In a natural stack of pancakes, all pancakes are slightly different with no repetitions. Sorry moonists, but this is pretty damning evidence that pancakes didn't land on the Moon!
Now, you may say that this doesn't matter since this picture was taken on Earth and not during the supposed Moon landing. But if they're willing and able to manipulate this picture, and LIE ABOUT IT, what else are they willing to lie about? Ron Paul 2016!162 1 1 -
@Anonymous: It's a Martian landscape. We sent stacks O' pancackes there in 1984/86. Regan didn't want Mars full of heathen pastry.
