@Anonymous: This species has no means of sensing anything, other than its feelers. An unfortunate side effect of these feelers is that they poison everything they touch, except for members of the same species. Because of this, these creatures live in a desolate, rocky world. They move around by scrunching their pudding-like bodies at a maximum speed of 0.25 mph. They have the potential to live indefinitely, but because of their lack of sight and the harsh conditions in which they live, they are commonly split open just a few days after birth. However, this is good for the population, because since their homes are devoid of life, they can only feed off of their own. When one dies, it quickly dissolves into a liquid that can be easily absorbed through the thin, porous skin of its hungry brethren. They communicate with each other by extending feelers and outputting a specific series of pulsations; they have fully functioning brains and are highly intelligent, with a developed system of morals. Their distant cousins, who were nonpoisonous and had evolved to have rough, scaly bellies, grew to be the planet's dominant species, and eventually became capable of interstellar travel so as to migrate from the planet and to much greener pastures. How exactly this race has survived, on the other hand, is unknown.

@Anonymous: Fortunately in this case it's a minority. The womenfolk seem to be dominating #drawing in general.

@Anonymous: You may be right, and I may be just so unaccustomed to seeing it online.
In any case, from what I've seen of the talented namefriends in drawing, more than half of my favorites appear to be the female type of human. -

@Anonymous: Female: Enin, Zincink, Splig, Fuss
Male: Photocopier, Gearmond, Xeno_Mezphy, Harbinger
Don't know: TmsT, remeranAuthor
Just a quick list off the top of my head, seems fairly even (apologies if I ballsed anyone's gender up) -

@Anonymous: On what basis do you say remeranAuthor is a dude? They draw themselves as female and I haven't seen them specify otherwise.
Also I haven't seen totallybob's name yet, or bhudapop. -
