@Anonymous: Homestuck is like a lopsided book, bad hook, amazing climax(es). Earlier acts are goofy and serve to introduce concepts, basics or sburb, alchemizing, etc. Though every little detail resurfaces... Say how far into it are you?

@Anonymous: I didn't even find it funny. It's kids who swear on computers. You meet a kid like that on the internet, you usually punch him.

@Anonymous: That's where you'd be wrong.
Read all the way up to the end of Act 2, I believe.
Then again, I haven't read it in a while.
But still, comedy is apparently kids swearing like sailors = HILARITY! -

Homestuck really takes a bit of patience to get into. the first couple acts are mostly learning things: how the game works (in a very basic sense), who the main characters are (for now), and other things like that.
As you move on though, the story really does progress. Chatlogs are almost always important in some way and should be read through or you will likely be confused about something later on. The Humor doesnt really focus on the whole "swearing kid at a keyboard" thing, although it is used for some specific characters for their personality more than humor.
I would totally recommend you keep on trucking with your homestuck reading. How far have you gotten, out of curiosityH
