I'm all for equal pay for equal work, regardless of gender. I'm not all for affirmative action, as it undermines the entire concept. Furthermore, I'll make you a sandwich when you pay for our date. Right now men make more money, but men generally pay for a shit ton more too. Also, you can put your two months salary into the wedding ring too. Everything needs to change, on both sides.
