@Anonymous: Easy to overrate any movement with a martyr in it. Nirvana could have become worth its salt (by YOUR standards) if he'd lived long enough to keep redefining the group's sound.
Hell I only know one song by the band. -

@Anonymous: Oh dunno. It's easier to fantasize about how great things could have been when they meet an untimely end. But in the same vein, it's easy to underestimate the potential that may have existed because of the same reasons.
I'm not saying they would definitely have been great. I'm just saying it's just as difficult to say they would have remained terrible. That's all. -

@Anonymous: I think you can see the progression. You Know You're Right, the last song they recorded before Kurt shot himself is much better in my opinion than the other shit. That makes me think that the song writing and music would have improved. Especially since after he killed himself, grunge moved on into better things, so Nirvana's style may have even changed.
