@intermoist: According to logic, being appealing is the same thing as being successful. Different scale. Same shit.
Therefore furries are successful. -

@Switch: I consider the previous works of Lady Gaga kinda good, but the last one, except for Born This way and another one or two tracks, is awful.
My point was every set of nominations have one or two popular but not so good music. Skrillex is the case. Maybe they do that to make the event more popular. But consider his music anything near good just because of this is just wrong.
Another offtopic point is that Grammy isn't making good nominations nowadays. This year was a full of win in music, with a lot of great stuff, but most of them aren't there!
If this grammy was in this year, it would be the failure of the year. -

@Anonymous: I completely agree with your point. I'm just saying that I wouldn't consider Skrillex a failure just because I don't like his music.
I hate the Grammys because it's just a cesspool of shitty music IMO. But almost everyone that gets a Grammy sells thousands to millions of records. And I definitely consider anyone that sells thousand (and by thousands I mean 100,000+) records or downloads to definitely be successful, despite what I think of their music. -

@Harbltron: Blocking public transport, leaving huge amounts of rubbish everywhere, refusing to move the camp at St Pauls for remembrance services. Also they fail for being complete hypocrites i.e. protesting against "capitalism" yet they are happy to use smartphones and the internet, drink starbucks, smoke; In other words enjoy all the trappings of living in a capitalist society.

>use smartphones and the internet, drink starbucks, smoke; In other words enjoy all the trappings of living in a capitalist society
Absolute fallacy, a communist can do all of those things in China. Additionally it's a fallacy because you need to engage with society in order to function in it, surprisingly. How do you move past an obsolete system? You use its tools against it, not rocks and sticks.
>blocking public transport
...is a great way to protest and be seen. Getting your pretty little permit and going where they want you isn't a protest.
Let me ask you a question; why are you calling these people failures while the CEOs on Wall st. are destroying thousands of lives and then jumping out the window with their golden parachutes on? At least they can believe in something better than they've got.2 2 1 -

@Harbltron: Blocking public transport means that all they do is ruin normal peoples' days, those arseholes protesting at St Paul's cost me a job by blocking a bus I was on for half an hour, frankly they should all be kettled and arrested for public order offences

@JackBlack: Agreed, and if they are not happy living in a capitalist country they should fuck off and get oppressed in North Korea or some other backwards country like that.

@Anonymous:
>if they are not happy living in a capitalist country they should fuck off and get oppressed in North Korea
So if you don't like the way your country runs you should leave it, instead of attempting to affect change? Sterling logic. -

@Harbltron: How does playing in traffic change anything? If you want to affect change do something that will cause change.
