@Anonymous: oh no no no, I'm not here to have a relationship with anybody, I'm not looking here for friends or for chat, for this I have the real friends!
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: But internet friends are nice too.
I've met some of my favourite irl people through forums and some of them through 4chan even.1 -

@Anonymous: Not really, dicks or tits its just flesh, even so while I think the coc is to strict, it would depend how an nsfw section was implmented cause it could kinda split the activity up with lots of posting being in nsfw and not seeable to alot of people.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: >it's just flesh
Most people prefer one flesh or the other. Some both, but most people who like just one would rather not see the other. And chances are, people who wanted guys would be screwed - girls everywhere. -
Anonymous
@Anonymous: not to derail this thread but if your not seeing enough dicks just post more of it, its not that hard frankly. I get where your coming from though, just think it splits it all up even further, maybe its not a good thing.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: I think if this happens, we should start with it split... if that doesn't work, you could always combine 'em.
Anyway, to prevent derailment, here's another idea. -

@Anonymous: able to switch between diff themes as your default theme would be cool [the mc cats etc]

Anonymous
@Anonymous: Group mods being able to change the default number of downvotes needed to hide posts within their specific group.

@Anonymous: Of course, but not super-expensive. Assuming they release multiple, they could charge more for cooler ones.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: making them too expensive will mean less of the one off stickers being used which would kinda suck, cheaper would mean at the very least more variety of stickers.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: No, but you know full well that if canv.as allowed NSFW then people would draw dicks on everything.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: If they're expensive they become an achievement for people to reach, If something is stickered too much it just becomes another sticker.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: They do the same normally with black and any other stamp, its not the end of the world, and seems a triffling reason to not have it totally. It seems rather a lame reason actually for making things so puritan.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: What if you could pay to unlock a sticker that costs 1 #1 ?
Then they would be given out sparingly but they could be worth more than one to receive. -
Anonymous
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: Yeah, the cheaper ones would be more common. But I see no problem having simple stickers being like, 15-25, whereas rarer, cooler stickers getting much higher. Get a :3 face (or some other adorable thing) for 25, counts as just one sticker when given, and it'd be common, but... the "fire and flames" or such other cool ones be like 200.

@Anonymous: unlocking the cool one would make more sense in that scenario than it is presently, atm its a pain to use it having to buy it each time considering it only costs 1 anyway.
Even if it makes it an achievement it just slows down the use of stickers in general, if anything devaluing the #1, increasing sticker liquidity, would generate more enjoyment. -

@Anonymous: Implied that because it was the case it was a/the main reason to not do it.I apprecaite there are positives and negatives on each side, even so it seems a bit of a waste to not have a section thats NSFW, its not like people should be on this at work anyway
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: It might slow down the use of epic stickers, but that would be it. Everything else would continue on as normal, if not increase. And I don't see how it'd devaluate the #1 any more than epic stickers do. As it is, if you're willing to use a #1 instead of saving it, the post usually deserves a #1.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: It would definatly slow down the use of epic sticks, as for liquid that was a seperate point which I didnt make clear my apologies, though if unlockables were worth more [+2etc] or were negative would be kinda interesting/cool
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: could always do them as a bonus on leveling up, that way #1s all goto the stickershop stickers and its adding without taking away.
-
@Anonymous: >negative
I like this idea. And unlockables worth more would be great too.
Also sticker+downvote stickers.
Just the idea of unlockable stickers has great potential for awesomeness.21 -
Anonymous
@BillyBites: A good sticker when you get to level 100 would be nice, I was so disappointed that I didn't get anything.

@Anonymous: how about referees or whatever being able to set a group to being invisible on the everything, unless people are following, eg being you would only see pony posts if you were following pony [if pony group owner/thing set to not being able to see them by default.] even without nsfw would make it easy to avoid hot_girls and pony.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: why do you people make things so complicated?
HOW ABOUT A GROUP BLOCK FEATURE SO PEOPLE CAN BLOCK GROUPS THEY DON'T WANT TO SEE ON [EVERYTHING] IT'S SO SIMPLE FFS -
Anonymous
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: But for that you can pick the groups you like and choose to see Following when you enter the site.
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: That is a really lame excuse to demand the existance of a NSFW group, thing that will never exist in canv.as.
If you want NSFW content, there's plenty of internet for that. PLENTY. -
Anonymous
@Anonymous: What if you wanted to see everything, I mean every fucking thing posted on this site except one specific group? You can't do that unless you somehow follow every group in existence expect the one the one group you hated, and somehow you would need to automatically follow newly created groups. Even then, you can't see things that are posted in unspecified groups under the [following] tab.
Block feature is most easiest and practical solution. -

@Anonymous: That's a good point, indeed. Anyway, I don't expect developers to make that anytime soon.

I wonder if the canv.as guys are actually watching this thread and working in some of the ideas in here. Will they pull them up for christmas? Have they done some stuff of this but they're waiting for christmas to show them? Are they expecting the Spanish Inquisition?
I'd like to know if any of them reads this, at least.1 -

@Anonymous: Google hasn't released an API for this yet, so it can't work with our drag-and-drop way of stickering things. We want this too, but we're waiting on Google to do the needful.
