@Anonymous: Hmm, I wasn't pushed into it. I've gotten monetary benefits, found the wedding to be a great way to make a public celebration/declaration of our love and generally have just had a great time of it and no stress whatsoever. If it doesn't work for you, don't do it. Woop woop

I like being married, it may be only symbolic in some peoples' eyes but I really wouldn't have it any other way.
