No one should ever be married. It's natural for a man to reproduce with as many women as possible, so being tied down to one is kind of crazy, from a biological standpoint.

Marriage: what is it? A Christian tradition. (most cases)
Freedom of religion: The religion says "No gays can marry". Ok Fine.
Court Marriage: You can get married in a court of law if I recall, without the Christian fanfare, what should Christians have to complain about this? nothing.
But in Reality: They do.

In conclusion: Christian gay marriage being illegal is fine, this is giving respect to the freedom of religion. However gay marriage in a court of law being illegal is asinine.

But if you are gay and Christian, whelp you're screwed.
