@Anonymous: The more you sticker = more people able to level up = more shop stickers in play &c &c = MORE FUN.
Plus you stand a great chance of making somebody's day if you sticker that one sad, bare little post that got no love.
There's literally no reason to be stingy with non-shop stickers, and dropping an epic sticker on somebody is beautiful thing. Sticker. Fucking. Everything. -

@Anonymous: if thought/emotion-provoking content (original or not) is what earns stickers, then the amount of stickers in circulation on the site is related to the quality of content posted to the site. so in theory, stickers ARE limited, but the content on the site is what causes the stickers to exist/circulate in the first place. stickers are merely a symptom/physical representation of the creativity on canvas.
so there's not really a sticker economy per se, but there's some sort of economy of ideas/substance/creativity.
or at least that's just what methinks..

@Anonymous: Sort of- but that's like saying the amount of money a bank has is limited to how many loans it can give. Since banks create money through debt, it's unlimited, but it's limited by how much debt there is to create. Anyone could start a sticker war and throw the whole thing off because people would level and get more #1s, which are limited.

@Anonymous: I do this, and I'm proud. It turns my user page into a "best-of" gallery, which is good in several ways. It makes me look cool, for one thing. For another, if a user goes there and sees all more good posts, I'm more likely to get more stickers.
Those two things benefit me, but the best part is that it turns my profile page into a nice piece of content on its own, with a collection of decent posts, creating more content for canv.as. Everyone should do it imo.3 -
