@Anonymous: They did a study a few years back concerning the productiveness and ability to retain lessons in different ages of students and the time of the day. The results suggested that all students would "learn" more (retain more knowledge) if they reversed the way we timed our schools, with elementary students starting the earliest and the high school students starting the latest.

Unfortunately, the reason high schools start so early is so that they get out of class the earliest, allowing more time for sports in the afternoons and early evenings.

tl;dr you woke up early so your football team would have more practice time and highschoolers don't really learn shit before 10AM
