@SarahPalin: What an ignorant asshole.
Whether or not he/she is a Christian, it has nothing to do with this.
The god meme is just stupid, and you are stupid for encouraging it.
As of the day before yesterday, there have been an explosion of atheist memes; my conclusion, most of the posts are from the same person, and he's a newfriend.
Not impressed. -

@SarahPalin: Go look at the definition of "ignorant" and stop being a fucking idiot.
You just stated an oxymoron by the likes of "It's not ignorant to not want to learn".1 1 -

@SarahPalin: I know this: we need to play with existing stuff to get new stuff. I do it too if I have something to add or mutate. I'm fine with most everything that gets uploaded to canv.as, within the CoC. My specific issue would be two fold+
- pre-generated crap from other sites with the urls clearly displayed
- the advice thing is soooo overdone as to part of the background, trite and booring.
plus this in particular and the atheism thing has been bubbling up all day. do something new, find some other creative way to push your agenda. -
@Anonymous: I just think it's funny when people point out the hypocrisies in the bible. It's fun and it is easy. I don't really feel bad about it.
If i felt thats suppose to make me ignorant, then i guess i could just say that you not having any tolerance for people who don't believe in Christianity makes you just as ignorant. If you were offended by any images you see in this thread and chose to come here for political debate, instead of ignoring it then you may have bigger issues then just getting mad @ advice god or people who don't have time to humor religious rhetoric. -

The best part about canvas is that you can vote for things you like, and they will bubble up OR downvote it if you don't like it.
That way, one person can't control the whole board. It's a form of democracy. (Something most theocratic minded people hate also.) I see a LOT of upvotes on these posts, so it seems that there are people here that like it.
Protip: Click the "Following" tab instead of the "Everything" tab and you won't even see these posts, since they are presumably in a group you aren't following.
Use the tools built into the site and we can all be happy. (Again, something most religious people frown upon, but oh well)

@SarahPalin: You said that not wanting to read the bible doesn't make you ignorant, yet you gladly just come back and attack it by saying that things within the bible are ignorant, even when you clearly deny reading the bible.
Being ignorant of something that you think is ignorant, is not exactly a good way of avoiding being called ignorant. -

@Anonymous: Like most of the people here, I didn't click the fucking "follow button".
Like most people, I go to the front page to sticker a meme or make my own; What I see, is that the whole fucking front wall is covered in these stupid advice god memes that are just as ignorant as the people that made them.
And like SarahPalin, you guys are just using the bible's ignorance to be ignorant of what is actually in the bible and what most of those things actually mean. -
@Anonymous: Yeah, but now you're just pushing the incest back a generation. These images only give you limited space to work with, of course some liberty is going to be taken with the details. The overall point made by the image is still the same.
-
@Anonymous: Some curse then. What's the point of a curse if the cursed people feel fine? Your God is incompetent if he can't pull off a simple curse.

@Anonymous: It's not okay to apply contemporary laws to past events, but it's fine to apply archaic laws to current events?
-

@Anonymous: you're doing it wrong. the front page is either "following" or "everything".
stop looking at "everything" if you are offended by everything. just look at the groups you are following.
i KNOW you aren't following the "Atheism" group, and that's actually my point. You won't see it if you just look at the groups you are following. Now stop posting in a group you seem to have issues with.

@Anonymous: How the fuck do most theocratic minded people hate democracy?
How are most religious people against the fun of Canv.as?
I hate it when people are ignorant. I hate it when common stereotypes are thrown around without regards to the actual truth.
I am a Christian, a fundamentalist Creationist at that.
To most people I meet, I am told that I am very religious.
However, I support gay marriage, and secular paganism is another religion that I practice.
You can know so much about Christianity (Which you probably don't), yet you know nothing of the people that practice it. -

When there is a feuture that allows me hide all posts in a certain group in my Everything, then I'll use it. Now you just propose me to manually mark as followed all the groups except this one. Well, no. And why on earth create group when you are not ready that someone might not like it?

@Anonymous: christian =/= support gay marriage
christian =/= secular paganism
i dunno what you are, but you aren't a christian. that word means something and you aren't allowed to alter the definitions of words to suit your needs.
although that is another trait of religious people. truth is flexible right? lol.112 -

@Anonymous: in other words you are weak, either for being a bad christian, a bad liberal, or a bad paganist
-
@Anonymous: >Claims to be a fundamentalist Christian
>Supports gay marriage, also a pagan, both of which are specifically condemned in the Bible.
Cool hypocrisy, bro. -

@Anonymous: My point is that most people go on to Canvas for fun.
At first, I thought the whole "Atheist group" was ok, and I still do; but I don't like it when people are filling the forum with shit, old shit memes that have gone out of style. I do also want to see groups that I am not wanting to follow, just for the sake of free choice.
You are advocating spam in the guise of the freedom to post. I am not trying to take your freedoms away or limit them, but nobody likes spam. -
@Anonymous: Don't like a site's content? Go to a different site.
No one's forcing you to look at these images. -

@AnimalCrosser5: Again, read the Book before making any bloody statement. You'll die. Isn't it enough?
Anyway. All I wanted to say is that this paticular image is simply flawed. It is. Get over it. -

@Anonymous: I am a Christian, because I believe in a messiah that gave us a choice, gave us a consequence, and gave us a way to redeem ourselves.
I believe in and support homosexuality, because it is something that is natural, and because I believe a God that judges the heart and the intent.
I am a secular pagan, because I believe that some traditional means of medicine and comfort can be goodly and non-conflicting with my beliefs. -
@Anonymous: What is it with you people and saying ignorant over and over? When you write off every single thing as ignorant your argument starts to sound silly (or sillier).
Also i never said i haven't read the bible, i just don't think people have to read it to have an opinion on it. Most Bible stories and beliefs are out there for people to find. To appease family as a child i went to bible classes, and communion, and had the bad luck of hearing religion and religious beliefs taught in social studies when i was just a kid. Nowadays i get my information from reading, or the news, and as shady as those can be at times, at least i'm not getting it from the Christian bible lol.

@Anonymous: World religious demographics:
90% theist
3% atheist.
It's funny how only 3% of the world's population can account for the most noisy and annoying. -
@Anonymous: thanks for explaining, now go to a Christian church and tell them how you have sinned lol.

@SarahPalin: >Also i never said i haven't read the bible, i just don't think people have to read it to have an opinion on it.
Now that's simply illogical. Herp-derp, I ain't need to know no thing 'bout them evilutions 'cause I know it's wrongedy-doo. -

@SarahPalin: I agree it sounds silly.
An ignorant person, from a scientific point of view, is usually a person who made a decision without considering ( ignoring ) all the evidence for the respective case -
Anonymous
@Anonymous: your math is wrong... where's the other %7. you must account for that before your argument has any validity
-
Anonymous
@Anonymous: yeah right, so who decides what's fun or not fun? to me, this is fun. to you, it's not.
use some happy face stickers or the thumbs down stickers to express your opinion. look at the posts and see who likes what. some of the LOL-GOD posts have 30 or 40 upvotes. That means people like them.
this isn't about "spam"2 -

@SarahPalin: Well Christians can't speak on behalf of their beliefs. Their beliefs speak on their own behalf.
I didn't even realize that the bible doesn't say that there were three kings or three wisemen; it was just a tradition.
Having an opinion on something, yet without credible knowledge, is ignorance.
Just saying, I think you are just completely retarded.1
